Are you ready for a summer unlike any other??

You've come to the right place!

​Christian Youth In Action is a very selective program. That's because we take the ministry of evangelism to children seriously. We are happy that you have taken the time to pray and feel led to apply. Please note this is a 3-phase selection process. An applicant must successfully advance through each phase to become a CYIA summer missionary.  Don't worry, if this is God's will, He will help you throughout each phase for you to fulfill His calling in your life!

​Phase 1 - Online Application: You will be provided additional information about the program that you are required to read. You will also be required to watch a short video concerning our Child Protection Policy. Once you have completed these requirements you can fill out the short application form for consideration of acceptance into CYIA. Be sure to fill out the application completely. References (people you know) listed on your application may be contacted. Once your application and references are reviewed you may be contacted for an interview and asked for additional information to further consider your acceptance into the program.

​Phase 2 - Training School:  Every potential summer missionary in CYIA is required to attend and successfully complete our missionary training school. Don't worry, we will be here to help! We want you to be successfully equipped to share the Gospel with children and bring glory to God! Once you have received the call to advance to Phase 2 you will be given additional information from your local CEF office about the training school requirements. You will also be required to provide additional information and participate in sharing missions awareness with friends and family as you prepare to advance to the next phase.

​Phase 3 - Missionary Status: After successfully completing training school and other requirements, you are ready to begin an awesome summer adventure with God!  You will be required to complete some additional forms before you get started. Your local CEF office will help you through that process so you can get out there and begin sharing your love and faith in Jesus to the children!

There are three important documents you must read. Click the links below and read carefully. If under 18 years of age you are required for your parent/guardian to read as well. If you are in agreement with each document you may move to Number 2. You will be asked in the application and possibly in any potential interviews about what you read.
